Heidi & Reed are now offering virtual visits!
Rescuing Reed shows that every person has worth and a purpose — sometimes it just takes one person to believe. We have found that the book's multi-faceted message resonates with children in so many ways, and we would be excited to share our program with your students via one of our Virtual Visit time slots.
The Rescuing Reed virtual programs typically last between 45 - 60 minutes.
The program generally follows the following outline:
- Introduction, which includes Heidi's inspiration for writing the book
- Heidi, with Reed right beside her, reads Rescuing Reed: The Little Dog Who Could to the group
- Heidi discusses the importance of "being someone who makes a difference in other people's lives"
- Question & Answer time
- A conversation about everyday applications of the book's lessons
A Glimpse of Heidi and Reed on a Virtual Visit
Heidi is happy to tailor the virtual visit's structure and time frame to the audience attending. A 45-60 minute virtual visit costs $250; any extra proceeds from book sales generated from our visits are donated to humane education programs across the country.
